While working as a designer in the film industry on top title design sequences, I also create film poster design and graphic identity for movies.
In my work as a designer in the film industry, I’ve had the opportunity to dive into both title design and movie poster design. For me, these two elements are always connected. When I’m thinking about a title sequence, I’m also thinking about how it pairs with the poster.
I work closely with producers and directors to make sure that the visual identity of the film captures its essence. The choice of font, color, and overall design needs to match the movie’s mood and theme. I see title design and poster design as key parts of a film’s branding. Together, they create the first impression of a movie—hinting at the plot, the genre, or just setting the right tone.
The more I combine these two design elements, the more I enjoy the process. It’s exciting to create a visual story that ties everything together, from the first glimpse of the poster to the titles on the screen.
